Preparation and Procedure for Botox

Dr. Cigdem Unal recommends that any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (medications including Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, etc.) are avoided for approximately five days before your Istanbul Botox treatments, to decrease the possibility of a small bruise at any injection site.

Botox injections are performed exclusively by Dr. Cigdem Unal in her office in Istanbul. Botox injections are performed after the marking of anatomic landmarks followed by application of a numbing cream. The injections take only minutes to administer. There is no downtime after Botox, and one can return to work and most social activities within 30 to 60 minutes.
